Ammy Drammeh was born and raised in Barcelona of mixed Gambian & Spanish heritage but then moved to London is 2010 to follow her career into the fashion industry.  

In 2018 & 2019 Ammy was part New Wave Creative list at the British Fashion Awards celebrating the most innovative and inspiring young creative talents from around the world.  
Ammy has worked with various photographers such as Mikael Jansson, Campbell Addy, Tim Walker, Rafael Pavarotti, & Nadine Ijewere and so capturing the industry’s attention with her original approach to storytelling and inventive use of colour. Ammy’s outlook on make-up, and fashion is perhaps epitomised by her own description of her aesthetic as, “real, more than natural.”  
Her work can be seen in publications such as i.D, Dazed, POP Magazine, Self Service & Vogue and her commercial clients include Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Jo Malone, M.A.C Cosmetics, Glossier & Sephora.  
Ammy has recently started her journey as a mentor joining Mentoring Matters, an initiative that aims to redress the balance of equality and opportunity within the Creative industries, set up for candidates from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds. 
In 2022 Ammy was named one of the Chanel Global Makeup Creative Partners.
