Born in Shimonoseki and now based in London, Kiyoko Odo grew up reading Harajuku street-style bible FRUiTS magazine, an influence that frequently runs through her work.

Having skipped the salon and gone straight to assisting aged 19, Kiyoko is now one of London’s brightest new hair stylists in demand across many magazines and fashion shows. Some of her signature hair moments include supersized pig tails for Junya Watanabe, barristerial hints for Kiko Kostadinov and Bo Peep ringlets for Yuhan Wang.

Kiyoko’s career highlights include shooting with photographers Juergen Teller and Tim Walker plus styling one of her personal heroes Vivienne Westwood for the cover of Dazed and Confused magazine where her work is frequently found. Kiyoko also contributes to other publications; i.D, The Face, Another, Pop magazine, Double and international Vogue publications including American Vogue.
